St Patrick’s College, Ballarat, Victoria
St Patrick's College is a Catholic day and boarding secondary school for boys, founded by the Christian Brothers and in the Edmund Rice tradition. Holdings include records and information dating from the college's foundation in 1893. Items include student records, ephemeral items, registers, uniforms, plaques, photographs, trophies, pennants, maps and plans.
As many generations of boys have attended the College, stories relating to family and social histories can be found in the archives. There are also links to the Catholic Church archives in the Ballarat Diocese and further afield, as well as other Catholic schools in Ballarat.
The college's centenary was celebrated in 1993, and an official history of the college by Br P C Naughtin 'History and Heritage' was published.
