The Kalamunda and Districts Historical Society assisted with the establishment in 1984 of the Kalamunda Local History Collection located at the Kalamunda Library. A collection of historic records was established for research purposes and general interest. The collection provides information about Kalamunda, Lesmurdie, Forrestfield, High Wycombe, Maida Vale and neighbouring suburbs and localities within the City of Kalamunda.
