Belmont Museum, Perth
The Belmont Museum was formed in 1988 by the Belmont Historical Society as part of a Bicentennial Project with the City of Belmont. It was run by the Historical Society which has ceased to exist. The museum is now the responsibility of the City of Belmont and the Local History Curator is attached to the Ruth Faulkner Public Library.
Belmont is a suburb of Perth, and is located 7 kilometres east of Perth's central business district on the southern bank of the Swan River. Its local government area is the City of Belmont.

The collection includes local family histories and biographies and covers many locally relevant themes including industry, horse racing, Perth Airport, Swan River and local government records and publications.
Open Monday to Friday 9am-7pm, Saturday 10am-3pm and Sunday 1-4pm.
