Scotch College is an Independent School for Boys, situated in the western suburbs of Perth. The College was founded in 1897 and has a proud history as a school of the Presbyterian Church, and since 1977, the Uniting Church of Australia. Currently there are approximately 1500 boys enrolled across Kindergarten to Year 12.
In 1896, the Revd D Ross proposed to the Perth Presbytery of Western Australia that a Scotch College be established. The school was officially opened in February 1897 in Beaufort Street, Perth with an initial roll of 28 pupils.
The Scotch College Archive houses the historical records and aims to preserve the history and traditions of the College. The collection dates back to our foundation in 1897 and spans to current day.
