Scotch College is an Independent School for Boys, situated in the western suburbs of Perth. The College was founded in 1897 and has a proud history as a school of the Presbyterian Church, and since 1977, the Uniting Church of Australia. Currently there are approximately 1500 boys enrolled across Kindergarten to Year 12.
In 1896, the Revd D Ross proposed to the Perth Presbytery of Western Australia that a Scotch College be established. The school was officially opened in February 1897 in Beaufort Street, Perth with an initial roll of 28 pupils.
