The Library collects material relating to the geographical area of the Port Pirie Regional Council.
The Port Pirie Regional Library Service is part of the Port Pirie Regional Council.
Collects records relating to the town of Port Pirie and towns within the Council area, including records about individuals, businesses, organisations etc.
The Library moved in 2010 to a new building built on the old railway platform.

Open Monday 9am-5pm
Tuesday 9am-7pm
Wednesday to Friday 9am-5pm
Sunday 1-5pm.
Closed Saturdays, public holidays and between Christmas and New Year.
General access and photocopying can be provided during opening times. Assistance with enquiries is available 1-3pm on Fridays or by appointment.
There is a disabled car park. A wheelchair is available from Library reception.
The local Family History Group will undertake research for a fee. The group can be contacted through the library and they have a member present on Fridays from 1-3pm.
Copying services are available for a fee for books and journals to A3 size.
The library has free wifi for any South Australian Public Library member.
Free access to internet connected computers (id required).
