Picton and District Historical and Family History Society Inc, New South Wales
Formed in 1987, the Picton and District Historical and Family History Society Inc, primarily covers the New South Wales Wollondilly Shire areas of Bargo, Buxton, Couridjah, Lakesland, Picton, Thirlmere and Tahmoor. The Society holds an extensive archive of material relating to the local area.
The Society is located in the Susan Keohane Local Studies Room of Wollondilly Public Library in Picton.

The Research Room, the Susan Keohane Local History Room, Picton Library, is open each Thursday from 9.30am-3pm or by appointment.
For those attending the library in person, research use is free for members of the society. A research fee is payable by non members.
For those unable to attend and using mail/email to seek assistance from the research team, research fees apply.
It is preferred that the Research form is used for written inquiries.
