Ogilvie High School is an all girls public high school in New Town, a suburb of Hobart. It is the only public all girls school in the state.
The school was originally opened as New Town Commercial High School in 1937, but was renamed A G Ogilvie High School, for former Premier of Tasmania Albert Ogilvie, in 1940. The school was co-educational up until 1963, after which it became an all girls school.
