The Nedlands Library Local studies Collection has been developed since the 1980s as part of the library.
Geographical and cultural context
The City of Nedlands was declared in 1959 but has been settled by Europeans since 1830. Before that the Whadjuk Noongah people were caretakers of the land.

Photographs, documents, oral histories, maps, digital copies of minutes and other materials. Library catalogue. Occasional publications on themes of Nedlands history.

Open Monday and Friday 9.30am-6pm; Tuesday to Thursday 9.30am-8pm; Saturday 9am-1pm; Sunday 1-5pm.

Reproduction services
Original documents and photographs can be scanned while you wait using the Local Studies facilities. There may be charge if copies are not donated. PCs and scanners are available for public use.
