Grenfell Historical Society and Museum, New South Wales
The Grenfell Museum is operated by the Grenfell Historical Society. The museum is housed in the renovated School of Arts building built in 1896.
Grenfell is a town in Weddin Shire in the Central West of New South Wales.

This museum houses a large local history photographic collection, extensive core collection from the Weddin Shire as well as collections of local historical records, maps and has a local family and a local history library.
Themed displays feature early household rooms, medical, communications, railway history, local businesses and organisations, designed around personal objects linked to local families and professions.
Other exhibits relate to the war service of local people; some famous local identities – Jan Lehane (tennis), Stan McCabe (cricket), Henry Lawson (poet and writer); on Weddin Shire’s beginnings, themed on gold mining, farming, bushrangers and the pioneer spirit.
Open Monday, 9-11am; Saturday and Sunday 2-4pm and other days by appointment.
