History
Volunteer members of the Deniliquin and District Historical Society operate the Society's Museum in the former Police Inspector's Residence, built in 1879, next to the scenic Edward River.
Museum attractions include shearing equipment, police records, historical photos, newspapers, items relating to the history of Deniliquin town band, Picnic Races, Red Cross, a War Veterans display of memorabilia and an exhibit of Historical Costumes.
Records management and collecting policies
The Society continues to seek books, photographs, manuscripts, maps, diaries and other records relating to the local district from the general public.
