Canterbury Bankstown Library Service, Sydney
In 2016 the Bankstown City Council formed in 1895 and the Canterbury City Council formed in 1879 were amalgamated to become Canterbury Bankstown City Council.
With the formation of Canterbury Bankstown City Council, two locations now exist for accessing material:
Publications and information relating to the former City of Canterbury and City of Bankstown and the newly formed City of Canterbury Bankstown, the area being defined by the city boundaries.

Bankstown Library and Knowledge Centre: Open Monday to Friday 9am-8pm, Saturday 9am-4pm, Sunday 1-4pm.
Campsie Library and Knowledge Centre: Open Monday to Friday 10am-8pm, Saturday 9.30am-4pm, Sunday 2-5pm.
Both centres closed on public holidays.
The collection is available during opening hours and appointments can be made with relevant staff.
Some material may have copying restrictions due to condition and age.
Parking is available at both the Bankstown and Campsie sites.
Wheelchair access is available.
Staff are available to assist with your enquiry. If in-depth assistance is required, please make an appointment with specialist staff.
Photocopying services available and fees apply.
Scanpros available for accessing records on microfilm or fiche and can be saved to USB.
Reproduction of photograph collection available - fees apply depending on size.
Free Wi Fi is available on your own device, public computers available, study areas, cafe (Bankstown).
